LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 29, 2026 /CNW/ -- Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Colonel Joshua Kutryk will soon travel to the International Space Station on the Crew-13 mission aboard a SpaceX Dragon crew spacecraft. Launch is targeted for no earlier than October 1, 2026, at 11:10 am ET.

Launch in Florida

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, will attend the launch at Kennedy Space Center in Florida and will be available for interviews.

Only media representatives who have already been accredited may attend the launch at Kennedy Space Center.

Live launch coverage at CSA headquarters

Media are also invited to the John H. Chapman Space Centre in Longueuil for live launch coverage, featuring expert commentary and opportunities for interviews.

Media must present a press card at both the gate and the reception desk. Please arrive early to allow time for security screening. The event will also be livestreamed on the CSA's YouTube channel. The original feed, without interpretation, will be available as well.

Following the launch, the CSA Conference Centre will remain accessible for media interested in watching post-launch events.
